Palais Longchamp - Longchamp Palace

Oxygen and culture in equal measure.
Inaugurated in 1869, the Palais Longchamp is a great place for an afternoon stroll as well as a cultural centre. The lions and tigers adorning the entrance were designed by Jules Cavelier and Louis Barye, and within you will find the Grobet Labadié museum, the Fine-Arts museum, and the museum of Natural History. Formerly a zoo, the Palais Longchamp is today an expansive park and while there are less visitors than before, it remains one of the city's highlights.
